Design Statement

Given the marginalized status and challenging circumstances faced by homeless individuals, my design aims to facilitate their reintegration into society and alleviate feelings of exclusion. The inclusion of ramps in the design serves a dual purpose: not only to physically connect levels 1 and 2 but also to symbolize a bridge between the homeless community and the society. Moreover, the use of triangles, creates a strong support. This intentional representation of stronger triangular structures also symbolises helping them to gain a stable life as they connect with society better in a supportive environment.
